It’s HERE!!! The best season (for dressing) of the year has arrived and I’m getting you fully prepared to kill your seasonal and holiday events, happenings and shenanigans!

We’re doing a 30 Day Fall Styling Series on both TikTok and Instagram starting Tuesday, September 7.

This time around we’re going to have seasonal weeks such as, “Date Night Week” and “Fall Festival Week” during those weeks I’ll be styling and sharing looks to wear for those events.

Each Sunday I’ll have the previous weeks looks from IG Reels and TikTok rounded up here for you to better reference as well as get more detailed information regarding fit, quality and sizing.

SWEATER

This is a great cozy sweater for F/W. I feel like we all need an oversized black sweater to wear with leggings, jeans, skirts or even sweats. I sized up in this with the intention to wear it with leggings. If you want more of a sweater fit go with your TTS or even a size down.

LEGGINGS

I bought these 2 years ago and they are 100% worth the price. I wear them most often in the F/W with an oversized sweater and flat combat boots or when I’m feeling froggy with a crop sweater and sneakers.

I sized up and got the petite. I’m 5’4″ with short legs.

BOOTIES

LOVE these I got them in the cream too! They’re very comfortable and easy to get off and on.

I did get my TTS but if you’ll be walking or standing on your feet a lot you may want a half size up.

BAG

Very affordable, light weight enough to wear now. It hits right at the belly button so perfect for high waist bottoms.

It does run big, I sized down to a small.

SKIRT

Same brand as the top. Good mid to light weight fabric that you can wear end of summer into Fall. I LOVE the style of this skirt.

I’m wearing my TTS but I’d say it’s safe to size down.

SHACKET

My favorite purchase from the NSALE, I LOVE this shacket! I wanted a plaid style last year but couldn’t find the right scale or colorway. This one is perfect for me! Subtle, nude tones.

SWEATER

I’ve wanted one of this Chanel inspired sweaters for a while so when this came in stock I jumped on it. I

‘m super drawn to tans, beiges and all “nude” tones this season so I went with the tan but it also comes in black with white letters that I love just as much. The letters are a soft boucle type material.

Great quality sweater overall. I bought a size up.

JEANS

These are an AGOLDE inspired pair of jeans from Good American. These are a more rigid denim so they’re on the stiff side.

I’d say they run TTS, if you’re in between sizes go up.

HEELS

I’m carrying these braided block heels from Summer into Fall because they just work and I’m in the South so I can. These are very comfortable and easy to walk in.

I really really like this pair of booties, so much I got two pairs. The sock portion make them very comfortable and give a sleeker streamlined look. These are pretty comfortable, I’m wearing my TTS but if you want to wear them around walking I’d go a half size up.

In my early college years I worked at a sneaker store and had a pair of low grey and purple scale Dunks. They were so comfortable and my favorite sneaker, I wore them the most to work.

If memory serves me (Hi! I’m old!) I swear I paid $60 for them and they were FRESHHH!

Imagine my surprise when I found out Dunks are now “exclusive” and cost double to 10xs more than retail and you pretty much have to get them from a reseller.

Regardless, I still wanted a pair but wanted a classic color combo bc they are charginggg.

I went back and forth between the low and mid Panda’s but ultimately went with the mid’s. I wear a TON of sweats in the winter and a mid sneaker is a great boot alternative when the temps drop. These are also really cute with mini dresses.

This is my second pair of Fluff Yeah’s, UGG slippers are a whole different type of slipper. Once you get a pair you can’t go back to the $10 pairs at Target. I know because I’ve tried!

I have no intentions on wearing these as shoes but I wear them around my buildings property and will take them on a cabin vacation I have planned this fall.

They only come in whole sizes, go down.

Fun Fact: I actually worked at UGG for a little bit. I had one pair of UGG boots prior to working for them then after working there my love for UGG just grew.

WTBS, I always like to have an up to date pair of classics. Two years ago I bought the Mini Classics in Chestnut, they were the newer pair that come pre treated with water repellent. I must have gotten a bad pair because there were these random markings on them that wouldn’t come out even with their cleaning kit. I sent them back to the warranty department and they allowed me to return them for a store credit.

Since I did get a chance to wear them and these new Ultra Mini Classics were just released I decided to give them a go. This time in black.

I wear my UGG boots in the F/W daily to walk Nolo (my dog) and on quick errands to the grocery and Target.

Just consider this your “pear shaped” denim guide for Fall. I bought quite a few new pairs of denim for Fall and thought it would be great to round them up all in one place so you can compare and read fit information all in one place.

SIZING

I’m typically a 29, I am carrying some quarantine weight still so I’m technically between a 29 and 30 right now. 29’s are too tight on me and 30’s have too much room in the waist. My waist is 16″-17″ smaller than my hips/butt to give you an idea of my actual body shape circumferences.

Also, a lot of jeans are 90’s style right now and they tend to be made of more rigid / less stretch materials.

For HEIGHT: I’m 5’4″ with VERY short legs, 28″

This is my second pair of Levi’s Ribcage jeans, I seriously love this style. They’re a great rise to wear with crop tops. If you want the classic look of Levi’s this is a great pair. This pair came with the cropped raw hem so they’re short leg friendly.

I find Levi’s runs small due to the rigid material so size up!

This is an updated version of one of my favorite pairs of jeans. They are the Ribcage style so they are very high waisted. They hit right above the belly button on me, I do have a longer torso so keep that in mind. The leg has a nice actual straight leg which I love. These are a perfect year around jean, imo.

I always size up in Levi’s as they tend to be a little stiff.

SWEATER

This is a staple sweater I plan to have for years. I LOVE an oversized sweater, it’s perfect to throw on over leather leathers with a pair of combat boots. Issa look!

I did size up in this sweater but because they didn’t have any Medium’s left in store. However I do love how big and long it is.

I did order the tan in my TTS so it won’t fit as big.

I recommend going down a size if you want a proper sweater fit and going up a size for a tunic fit.

LEGGINGS

I bought these Spanx Leather Leggings 3 Anniversary Sales ago, they still look brand new and fit just the same. I highly recommend them.

I have a crop black sweater I wear this with with sneakers and my go-to when the temperature drops is with an oversized sweater and combat boots like above.

I’m 5’4″ with very short legs so I got Petite in a size up.

I’m shocked at how much I love these because I have never owned or worn a pair of backless loafers.

These are so comfortable and really do pull a look together, The pink is a fun pop of color to add a little sass. Because I love them so much I did order them in tan for my neutral looks.

I bought this last year and wore it weekly, it’s still a favorite and in rotation. The pants are not in the sale this year, they are still available. There is a pair of joggers in the sale that I also have and recommend.

SWEATER

Not in the sale but on sale. Love this pop of color for F/W. I bought my TTS but it is HUGE, it’s definitely a tunic fit. Size down if you want more of a sweater fit.

JEANS

This is an updated version of one of my favorite pairs of jeans. They are the Ribcage style so they are very high waisted. They hit right above the belly button on me, I do have a longer torso so keep that in mind. The leg has a nice actual straight leg which I love. These are a perfect year around jean, imo.

I always size up in Levi’s as they tend to be a little stiff.

ADIDAS PANTS

I bought these full price a month ago. LOVE them!! I bought them with the intention of wearing them throughout the year, They’re the perfect weight to wear now as well. These are now available in white so I ordered those too …. I really love them!
