It’s week three of the 30 Day Spring Styling Series!
We are kicking off the Spring Season with a 30 Day Styling Series (30 days on Instagram and Tik Tok, 5 weeks on my blog).
Each day for 30 Days I’ll share a Spring Outfit Styling Video on both TikTok and Instagram reels and each Sunday I will post a round up of the looks from that week here on juliamarieb.com
The styling videos on my social channels show a closer look of each outfit, movement of fabrics, etc while they’ll be more detailed information like fabric, fit and inventory levels will be here.
In the Fall I did this series just on Instagram and TikTok and you all loved it so much so we’re bringing it to my site as well so the content lives forever and is easier to find.
This week I’m sharing looks 13 – 19 of the 30 Spring Outfits!
YES, you need this! I love this top, I wear it regularly. It goes with everything, the fabric is slimming and smoothing and did I mention it goes with everything.
Good News: I love and am obsessed with these 90’s Highwaist Jeans. Bad News: They’re sold out. I did link them just in case they restock or other washes are released.
Thrifted Classic London Fog trench! Highly recommend checking your local thrift stores for coats. My favorite is Value Village. If thrifting isn’t for you, spend your coins … I get it!
These are not new around here. I bought them 3 Summers ago and they are still my most worn sandals. I wear them at least 2-3 days a week in the warmer months and they still look brand new. They are a bit of a splurge for a sandal but for me they have been 100% worth the price.
One of my favorite sandal purchases this year. I’ve been hearing “bad” feedback on these and not to say DUH to those people but DUH!!! .. yes, they’re heavy for a slide (have you seen the size of the rhinestones), yes, the leather may cut a toe in those first wears (like a lot of sandals) and yes, the sandal is flat flat so it has no support (once again, like a lot of sandals).
DUH these aren’t a pair of Clarks your grandma wears for comfort.
These are for fun, Hot Girl Summer action, and vacay vibes. I love them and recommend them. IDC. IDC.
I scored this blazer in store at H&M, $35. I have not seen it in store and the associate said they had it for a while so it may be sold out. I did link very similar options in the same price point.
This is SHORT, like SHORT SHORT. If you are taller than 5’4″ do not buy this. If your 5’4″ or under and aren’t afraid of SHORT I would suggest sizing up to give you a little more length.

I have melasma and that sun attacks me and my face in the Summer so I am expanding my hat collection. This hat is a linen-cotton blend with a cognac leather strap in the back. I think it’s a great Summer basic and pretty chic for a baseball hat.
Personally, I exclusively got this top to go with the trousers. It’s not something I would have bought on it’s on … top was gifted btw for full transparency. WTBS, it is great quality and fit. there’s elastic in the back so it stretches without losing it’s shape in the front.
I have been looking for a wide leg trouser to wear casually for a year. Stores finally started carrying them at affordable prices this season so I jumped on it ASAP. This pair is pretty much sold out but I linked them and a few similar pairs in the shop the post above.
Spring is here! Outside is opening back up (PRAISE HIM!!) We and our wardrobes need to be ready for any and all shenanigans that come our way. I don’t know about you but even as a self proclaimed sweatsuit connoisseur if I have to look at or wear another sweat anything I’ll cry. I need proper clothes for my proper shenanigans.
This season I’m all about sets and dresses and Abercrombie is really coming through with the looks. I’ve partnered with Abercrombie & Fitch to share a few of their new sets and dresses for Spring so you can get your wardrobe ready.
Check those out below!

I’ll be sharing these looks in the Spring Styling Series on both TikTok and Instagram Reels, look out for those for a closer look at how I put each look together.
Both pieces in this set are a lightweight twill, perfect for warmer weather. This top does have an elastic back so it’s able to stretch to fit your bust while still being form fitting.
Good: I’ve been looking for this style pants for a year, now that they’re officially trending I was able to get my hands on them.
Bad news: They’re already sold out. There is a shorts version but sizes are piecy.
Sizing: I did find they run small. I sized up one to a Large and got them in short length because that’s all they had left. Luckily, they’re the perfect length for my short legs.
Denim dresses in every cut are everything and everywhere this season. I have 5 in my current Spring wardrobe and they all serve their purpose. This style is very classic, it’s something you could wear to work (if denim is allowed), out for happy hour or even girls night.
This set screams vacation, outdoor event or festival. It’s so soft and cozy too. I plan to restyle this skirt with a basic tank, bandeau or crop long sleeve tee to give it a sleeker look. The skirt would look great as a swim cover-up on vacation too. There’s options is what I’m saying.
My favorite go-to way to accessorize my Spring and Summer looks is with jewelry. It’s too hot for layering clothes, at least in the South so I layer lots of gold jewelry instead. It just adds a glow, a little glam and gives vacay vibes.
You’ve probably noticed some new jewelry in my Spring Collection, it’s from Victoria Emerson and just adds that punch a statement piece provides.
I love my Victoria Emerson pieces, because they’re real gold plated they don’t turn colors. While I never recommend wearing your jewelry in the water I have not taken my bracelet off since the day I put it on a few weeks ago and it still looks new!
If you’re looking to sass up your jewelry collection Victoria Emerson is having a huge sale this weekend with styles on sale as low as $9.97!

This week I’m sharing looks 6 – 12 of the 30 Spring Outfits!
I scored this in store at H&M, $35 and have not seen it online. This is a light weight linen blend from The Conscious Collection. Love, Love, Love it! It put me onto blazers. I did link similar options at the same price point for you.
My absolute most favorite jeans. I bought these a year ago and consistently wear them weekly. They’re my most worn Spring Summer jean as they’re loose therefore great for warm weather.
Check the sizing chart as these size funny. They pretty much size like; 2-4-6-8 but instead 24-26-28-30
I bought these 3 seasons ago, they’ve had a similar pair each season but I haven’t seen them yet. I did link the most similar pair I could find and if I see anymore I’ll share when I do.
A cute little under $40 set from Zara! Sizing is a little dicey, sign up for restock alerts and check out your local store if you have one near by.
I sized up in the skirt. I have it in both a medium and large. My TTS, medium fit but was too tight. There’s not nearly as much stretch as you’d expect.
A splurge but hands down my most favorite and worn sandals. I bought mine 3 Summers ago and they still look new. I wear them at least twice a week the 6 months of heat we have in Atlanta,
Highly recommend, yes, you need it! It’s not a shaper by any means but it’s thick enough material and holds you in, add in the ribbing and it camouflages anything you may be self conscious about.
I really wish they made this in tan … I’ll be stalking in case they do!
These must have been exclusives because they sold out in a few days and I haven’t seen them since or I’m not looking in the right places. I bought these in January if you’re curious when they released.
You may remember this, I shared it twice in the Fall Styling Series. I’ll be sharing at least one more Spring Look with it. I love this! It’s a great way to look chic and evening ready but you don’t have to worry about your Britney being out. And that is a win!
I bought these 3 seasons ago, they’ve had a similar pair each season but I haven’t seen them yet. I did link the most similar pair I could find and if I see anymore I’ll share when I do.
Twirl, honey, Twirl! This is a great modest dress, comfortable, lightweight and breathable. …. There’s pockets too! The high low hem and oversized fit makes this more chic and on trend than the other tiered dresses you’ve seen.
It took me forever to find a good black sandal that was under $100. I searched high and low last Summer. In January I found this pair on Amazon, only $40 so I snatched them up … and of course they’re mostly sold out now.
I just recieved this in the mail 2 days ago and LOVE it! It’s light weight, soft and stretchy. It’s a mauve-y tan so it fits into my all nude color palette this season.
My favorite part is how it cinches at the waist. Highly recommend!
These are a bit of a splurge but great quality. They do have a little too much room so I probably should have sized down. I wear an 8 – 8.5 and got the 8.5 … 8 probably would have fit a bit better.
Welcome Back! I took a 2 month hiatus from the blog … it was the dead of winter, I was moving and I needed a break to brain storm new ideas for 2021 for you guys!

This week I’m sharing looks 1-5 of the 30 Spring Outfits!
Let’s start this off with, this dress is sold out. I’ve found that stores are buying much lower quantities in “real” clothes with an abundance of sweats so you really have to be quick.
With the bad news out of the way. I did find a really nice Free People dress current season regularly $120 for only $40. I have that one plus a few more similar dresses linked.
I think these are my favorite sandals I’ve purchased this season so far and I have a whole new sandal wardrobe. These are not made for walking but they are amazing!
These are my most favorite and worn sandals in my wardrobe. I bought these 3 Summers ago and they still look new despite wearing them a few days a week.
Go half up from your normal half up. I’m an 8 – 8.5 and got a 9
Canvas Totebags are everywhere for Summer. I knew I wanted to get one and really love the chic combo of black, cream and white on this Marc Jacobs bag.
Another piece from Naked Wardrobe. This is from the SNATCH Collection and it really does snatch you in. It is a bodysuit so I linked a very similar tank version if bodysuits aren’t for you.
Personally, I’ve been leaning in the skin tight crop version of tops instead of bodysuits for comfort but still have them same look.
I bought these a month or two ago and they’ve already sold out but I found a pair from the same retailer that are very similar. I saw them irl in store and can vouch for them.

SNEAKERS
It feels like I’m still breaking these Alexander McQueen sneakers in … I just don’t wear them enough. Regardless, I still love them.
A RULE I CREATED TO BE MORE INTENTIONAL WITH MY PURCHASES TO HELP STRETCH MY SHOPPING BUDGET TO IT’S MAXIMUM CAPACITY
WHO ELSE HAS BOUGHT A NEW TOP BECAUSE YOU “LOVED IT SO MUCH” THEN MONTHS LATER IT STILL HASN’T BEEN WORN?
We’ve all been there! There has been a time in our life we’ve walked in our closet looking for something to wear only to be reminded of the items we purchased but still haven’t worn, tags still attached and all.
When we make impulse purchases we end up with a closet of one offs that we only have one other item to wear with it, if even that.
When we make impulse purchases we end up with a closet full of clothes yet still have NOTHING to wear. WHY are we like this?!
In 2013, after losing 20lbs, purging 90% of my closet and only having a clothing budget of $150 a month I was in desperate need of a high functioning wardrobe. That is when, why and how I created my #1 shopping rule, The Rule of 5.
I knew in order to still buy quality pieces I loved I was going to have to get creative (and disciplined) and that’s exactly what I did. Every single purchase I made for the following year was well thought out and 100% intentional. I had no room for impulse purchases, the function of my wardrobe couldn’t afford it.
I bet you don’t like throwing your money away, do you?
We all deserve to hit our financial goals (and best wardrobes) and a great starting point is to become more intentional with what we spend our money on.
I want you to be great in everything you do so I wrote a 24 page book to fully share The Rule of 5 with you. There’s even worksheets for you to brainstorm your goal wardrobe!
Just enter your email below for your FREE Rule of 5 guide to get started on your best wardrobe yet!
If you need more help building your wardrobe my e-book,Build Your Dream Wardrobe on a Budget is a great tool. The 12 steps I take when planning and shopping for my wardrobes each season is covered in detail with examples for you. These are the steps I take to ensure each purchase is intentional, it’s also the strategy I used to budget to purchase my first Louis Vuitton handbag. In fact, The Rule of 5 is one of the 12 steps in the e-book.
One of the best items I purchased this year is the denim slouchy jeans, I wore them a few days a week so I knew purchasing this black pair would be a good idea and I was right. I thought the black would flow into my Fall Winter wardrobe.
The reason I love the slouchy jeans so much is because they’re low key sweatpants that look a little more polished. They’re also perfect to pair with bodysuits and crop tops, the high waist and fullness of the pants give the illusion of a slimmer waist.
In addition to be comfortable and flattering they’re also pretty affordable. Denim is an investment item for me but when trying a trend I’ll usually try out a more affordable option. These are in the $60 range and proper denim quality, for the price point the quality is really good.
The sizing on these are kind of tough as they are only made in every other size. I tried one size up in the regular length and one size up in the petite as my size (29) isn’t made. The regular length was HUGE while the petite fit perfect. I have to guess going a size down will be a safe bet if your size isn’t available.
I’m all about the bodysuits these days, seamless are my favorites and this Everlane style is perfect. The elbow length sleeves make it perfect for Fall transitional weather. Runs TTS.

You’ve probably seen the 1995, 1996 year range necklaces trending. I think they’re super cool with a little edge so I added a version to my shop. I was decided to be bold and YOLO it with my birth year. You can get 1-4 digits, it doesn’t have to be a year or 4 digit number.
This was a complete impulse purchase and I regret nothing! Nothing at all! On trend, classic, chic and comfortable at the same time. I sized up for an oversized fit, def could have gone two sizes up but this works too.

A good classic sneaker. I bought these last season as my staple shoe and they’re still in rotation this year. Runs TTS. Puma is a shoe you have to break in with a wear or two.
All the 90’s vibes with this cuban link name necklace. This is hands down my favorite necklace of the moment. It’s available in 18kt gold or sterling silver.
One of my favorite affordable purchases of this Summer is the crop halter neck tank. I have it in both white and black. My exact style is sold out so I linked a very similar option. Runs TTS.

It took me a Summer or two to finally get these Zara slides as I don’t normally wear slides. Now that I have them I know I should have gotten them sooner. These are my most worn sandals this Summer, hands down!
Some people say to size up but my TTS fits perfect. They are leather so they will stretch out a bit.
A long time favorite and best seller from my shop is the Carrie Name Necklace. It’s such a staple item, I’ve had mine 6+ years in the 18kt Gold Dipped shown here on a 14″ chain. I just purchased the 14kt Solid Gold on a 16″ chain.
Carrie is available in sterling silver, rose gold dipped and solid white gold as well.
The shouder pad trend is everywhere this year and when I saw this crop cinched version for $12 I jumped on it. Comes in 3 colors, runs TTS. Go up a size if you want some length.

This are hands down my favorite sandals, they are an investment item but 100% worth it if you love a good sandal. Go up a half size from your normal size.
Have you hopped on the bum bag trend? At the beginning of Spring I bought a cute inexpensive one from Target, I wore it so much I gave myself permission to invest in this MCM version.
This is the small. It fits about the same amount of items as my LV Alma bb.
