I’m BACK from holiday break and I’m still not an improved “model” haha! My candid faces are all I currently have to offer, I’ll work on it!
First things first, let’s talk about my sweater because after 8 years it’s still one of my most complimented tops year after year. When I first bought this sweater $40 (and that was after 50% off) was EXPENSIVE to me for a top. Well, 8 years later and it was worth every penny and I’ve increased what I’m willing to spend on clothing. 😉 This sweater is perfect for cold weather as it’s wool (hello, under pinnings also known as a long sleeve tee) and the massive cowl neck keeps my neck and face (because it covers half my face unless I’m extending my neck) warm and cozy. Bonus: the oversized fit hides ALL the pie you’ve been eating over the holidays. WIN-WIN!
One of my favorite buys this season is hands down these jeans. I’m very picky about my denim so I was surprised when I tried these on and immediately fell in love. They so comfy and flattering and 100% on trend this season with the distressed knees and raw hi-low hem. *Praise Hands* #purchase
At least 40% of my wardrobe is grey, it’s seriously my favorite wardrobe color, so these are perfect for everyday wear for me.
Last but not least, these hoop earrings! I live in hoops, it’s the only style earring I’m comfortable wearing and these were a random pick up at H&M. I wasn’t sure if I’d get wear out of them but at $5 they were worth the gamble and I’ve been wearing them almost daily since I purchased them. Shockingly, I get a lot of compliments on them as well. I say shockingly because they’re just basic hoop earrings but I guess other people see in them what I saw in them when I picked them up.
