If you haven’t noticed I’m a lover of all things pink, gold and swoon over any ruffle so this is a “happy place” outfit. I saw this top in Nordstrom while making my weekly stroll through and had to have it. When I’m not at work, I’m working on my blog, Julia Marie Shop or at Target relaxing so the clothing I wear day to day is relaxed. This top is pretty much a T-shirt with a fun spin on it, so perfect for trips to Target or to brunch with friends if I want to get fancy. lol
As far as fit on this top, it is a bit boxy because it is meant to be a crop top. Reading the reviews I found negative reviews due to the fit. I think that maybe coming from people who aren’t into or aware of the crop top trend. It’s also not a full crop top that would hit at the top of mid-waist pants. It hits below the waist band of mid-waist pants. So, keep that in mind. It works for me because, Target. I did size down to a Small. I usually buy a Small or Medium top depending on it’s cut and how I want it to fit. Because I am bottom heavy I don’t like too much extra fabric up top therefore tend to size down on “oversized” tops.
My favorite purchase of February are these sunnies though! I purchased these thinking they’d be for fun and I probably wouldn’t wear them unless I thought about them. You know, to wear on a brunch date or something. SIKE, I LOVE them! I’ve been wearing them regularly since I bought them and the best thing, they’re ONLY $12!!! #winning
All in all, my all pink everything purchases are a big fat win!!!
