Happy Happy Birthday to MEEEEE!!!! Ya’ll so this is my first birthday with an iPhone and every time I got a Happy Birthday texts balloons covered my screen! Thank you Steve Jobs for making me feel special!
Okay, so now that my most basicness is out of the way I’d say that this year is going to be a super amazing awesome year. 1) Because I say so and our minds are the most powerful tool we have, so there’s that. 2) I’m moving into a beautiful new home in 11 days. 3) Both my business and my blog are seeing growth and I plan on pushing them both as hard as I can all year long so I can make my entrepreneurial goals my reality!
Let’s get to my outfit now. I saw a black ruffle top jogger set on a site and LOVED it, had to have but due to #1 they were sold out and #2 moving put me on a budget I was unable to make it mine. So, being the proud owner of these velour joggers I kept my eyes peeled for a ruffle top and low and behold I was blessed by stumbling upon this ruffle blouse and voila my very own black ruffle jogger set was created. #swoon
You definitely do NOT have to buy everything you see and love. Most of the time you really just need to do an inventory of your closet and in the best cases you can recreate a look you’ve recently seen. For instance, I purchased these joggers 3 years ago when joggers were just becoming a thing and velour was all the way off the radar. Now, BOOM they are ridiculously popular and by pairing them with this blouse I’m able to get away with wearing this to work. As in tomorrow. I’ll be wearing this outfit tomorrow.
